WHY DO THE MID-WESTERN STATES PRODUCE SOME OF THE LARGEST BUCKS?

The glaciated soils of these areas are extremely productive. Some of the topsoils can be rich, and black up to
9 feet deep in some places! The deer in these areas are living in some of the largest and most productive food plots in the world.
